What's the difference between this and the full Brand Strategy?

The Clarity Session focuses on diagnosis and positioning: where your brand stands in the market and where the opportunity is. Brand Strategy goes much deeper: three two-hour workshops covering your mission, audience, positioning, personality, and messaging. Think of the Clarity Session as the scan. Brand Strategy is the full treatment plan.

Is this just a longer version of the free discovery call?

No. The discovery call is 30 minutes to see if there's a fit. The Clarity Session includes hours of competitive research before we talk, a structured LENS audit, a 90-minute strategic session, and a written report with specific recommendations. You're paying for strategic analysis, not a conversation.

Do I need to have done the LENS self-assessment first?

If you've already downloaded and completed the LENS workbook, great, bring your scores. If not, I'll send it to you when you book. It takes about 20 minutes and it's a crucial part of the process. The comparison between your self-score and my professional assessment is where the most valuable insights come from.

What if I already know I want the full brand identity?

Then skip this and book a discovery call for the Brand Identity project directly. The Clarity Session is designed for founders who aren't sure what they need yet, or who want to test the working relationship before committing to a larger project. If you already know, let's get started.

Can I use the report to brief another designer?

Absolutely. The competitive analysis and positioning recommendations give any designer a much stronger brief than "make it look more professional." If you choose to work with someone else, you'll be doing so with clarity most clients never have. And if you decide to continue with me, the investment is credited.
